6 Essential Oils to help Boost your Immune System

Essential Oils

Areas like work, health, money and relationships are components of life that we all need to focus on to live a happy and balanced life. Health matters. Health is the base for it all. When you take a moment to consider it, if you constantly feel tired, frustrated and moody it is hard to make the rest happen.

We all make some kind of effort to keep healthy with the right food, exercise and ensure we get sufficient rest, but when we become ill, we often realize that our immune systems aren’t as reliable as we want or need them to be.

The uplifting news is that there is something else we can do. Concentrated extracts have been used for years across cultures to address several health concerns and can help to keep us healthy and strengthen our immune systems.

The Healing Properties of Essential Oils

Aromatherapy oils have unimaginable healing potential that is helpful to both your psyche and body. At this time, when the flu season is starting and especially in this pandemic we currently find ourselves in, many people are looking for additional methods to avoid those infections that might be coasting near.

Essential oils might be exactly the thing you have been searching for and they offer a more secure and more regular approach to give your immune system the boost it needs to battle diseases including viral infections that cause the common cold and flu.

1. Lemon

Lemon essential oil, extracted from the peel of fresh lemons, is a powerful antioxidant known for its powerful antibacterial properties. When used daily, you can help rinse your body and free it of any destructive and harmful toxicity.

Two separate scientific studies conducted using lemon essential oil found evidence that it may be beneficial in protecting the health of the liver. This is significant because a healthy liver plays such a large role in a strong immune system. Add a couple of drops to a glass of water in the first part of the day and your body will love you!

2. Burglars

This original Burglars essential oil blend from Organic Aromas is made with a mix of cloves, cinnamon, lemon, eucalyptus, and rosemary oils and is incredible to use to ward off the beginning of a cold.

Go ahead and add a couple of drops to your Nebulizing Diffuser or you can even utilize it as a household cleaner and most of its antibacterial properties.

3. Oregano

Oregano is another essential oil that is amazingly valuable for boosting the immune system.

The oil is made from the leaves and shoots of the plant by an air-drying method. Once dried, the oil is separated by steam refining. This oil is regularly referred to as nature’s antibiotic and is very beneficial to your body’s immune system as well as surprisingly helpful at fending off stomach diseases and influenza.

You can place a couple of drops of the oil into a carrier oil, for example, virgin coconut oil and rub it onto your feet to assist your body to hold or an approaching cold or flu.

4. Frankincense

Frankincense, otherwise called olibanum, is produced using the resin of the Boswellia tree and has a woody, spicy smell. It has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for hundreds of years and even assists your body in producing increased white blood cells, which will certainly strengthen your immune system and fight numerous types of infections.

It can be breathed in by using a Diffuser, absorbed through the skin, or even soaked in tea.

5. Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus essential oil is extracted from the dried leaves of eucalyptus trees which have anti-fungal, antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Eucalyptus essential oil can help support upper respiratory wellbeing and help battle chest congestion, bronchitis, sinusitis and sore throat.

It is incredible when utilized in a hot shower or diffused daily in a Nebulizing Diffuser.

In extreme cases of advanced respiratory illness, add 30 drops to simmering water and steam twice daily.

6. Rosemary

Rosemary is part of the mint family, considered to be an excellent memory booster, stimulates hair growth, has intense antibacterial properties and is packed with good-for-you antioxidants. Due to its high level of 1,8-cineole, this extract positively protects the body from respiratory illness. Since rosemary also reduces cortisol levels, it helps improve the immune system.

For airway illness, the best way to use Rosemary Essential oils is by diffusing them.

To stimulate hair growth, use this oil once to twice daily consistently for at least 6 months continuously by adding 6 drops to a carrier oil and massage it directly into your scalp and leave it for at least 10 minutes. You can rinse or leave it on.

Before running to the pharmacy this flu season to buy over-the-counter medication that might be loaded up with ingredients you can hardly pronounce, you ought to consider attempting the use of essential oils from a reputable source to help boost your immune system and get past cold and influenza season unharmed.
